saber crystals

hey all,
for those of you with an xbox and no live ( i.e. no yavin space station and therefore no special crystals) what would be the best crystals to use for the dark side? just like to know what people have experimented with.

So far, my combos have sucked, especially compared to the light side where solari + upari have ruled!

there isn't a combo with the same amount of power. If you want anything close try upari-sigil or other combinations with upari. You can always give darth bandon's lightsaber a try, the effects on his lightsaber (dont change the red crystal) are better most of the times than that of regular lightsabers.

Depending on the order you visit the planets you can build combo's with:

- Upari : AB +3, Dmg +1d8 (Rakatan Temple)
- Krayt : AB +3, Dmg +2 (Tatooine)
- Sapith : AB +2, Dmg +3 (Rakatan Temple)
- Eralam : AB +2, Dmg +2 (Korriban)
- Sigil : AB +1, Dmg +1d6 (Manaan, Korriban)

- Damind : AB +3 (Tatooine, Korriban, Kashyyk)
- Opila : Dmg +3, +2d6 when critical hit scored (Tatooine, Korriban)
- Phond : Dmg +1d6 (Korriban)
- Nextor : AB +1, Keen (Kashyyk, Korriban)


Btw, Juhani and Bastila (and Jolee?) could make good use of the Solari crystal.

I would highly recommend upari and opila and especially with a double bladed lightsaber you could make good use of the damage this gives you on the DS since it will act like you have two lightsabers each with upari+opila. I have an xbox with no live, no yavin...Beaten the game 1 or 2 times on the DS and it wasn't very hard...I had two lightsabers, and one of the crystal combinations was upari+opila, the other was krayt dragon pearl+opila or something like that. Also if you use opila make sure you have critical strike because opila gives a good +2d6 on hit for critical strike. Anyways and as an above poster said make good use of the solari crystal that you get on korriban with juhani and jolee.
