How do I cheat? As you can see if you fallowed my massages you probably sew that I’m not doing that well in this game, I’m stuck and whatever I do I can’t go on... (As I mentioned in my previous massage) I could use anything , however I really don’t know how to use the computer on the best side , or that game for that matter, it’s all new to me ,so take it into consideration..

hit the ~ button and it will bring a console up

type in "DebugMode 1" without the "s and it should say Success under it

if u hit ~ then hit enter it will bring the list of commands u can use to cheat with

i.e

SetSTR 20

sets the characters strength to 20

Or just type it into your chatbar at the bottom of the screen, where it says talk. Just be sure to put "##" in front of the code, but without the "", so ##DebugMode 1, ##SetStr 20, etc.

Also be sure to type ##DebugMode 0 once you are done, because it will mess up your game otherwise.

OK now i'm sure that i got a bug in my game:
1. nothing works - the whole cheating guided you gave me , well it aint working i keep getting the :"set STR 2# NOT FOUND"
2. I tried to play this chapter of the mirrors for the third time now , and still it keeps throwing me to the same spott- i.e: i now have the merchent's frame, the temple shred, the tower's shred,the medusa's shred ,all but the queen shred cus she gave it to Sabal ..and i keep getting the same replay from the fool:"i see that u dont have the whole mirrors shreds if u dont hurry Sabal will bit u to them ....." i'm suppose to have the big fight with her in the castel over the last part, but she aint there!!!
now is this somthing SOMEONE can help me with or is this the last i'm gonna see from nwn ever , cus i'm sick of playing the same part over and over and over again! please..give me something that will work...

Do you only have the merchants COMPASS or do you have his MIRROR SHARD ?

Since he does NOT give you a shard, but just a compass to find it... and you have to use that compass to find the shard. It's in some (invisible!) rubble behind the library.

Just activate the compass and watch the pulsating of the light. Then go behind the library building and stand there. Wait until your characters say something like "look at this, over here". The invisible rubble with the shard in it will then suddenly become visible.

The Golems?
The answer is strikingly easy once you know it...

All Golems on the first level of that dungeon scream two words when they attack you... seemingly just nonsense. For example things like "ak zhand" or "ivit mis" (or something like that). Yet, those words are NOT nonsense, they are their own names - and you'll see that the golems have numbers as names.

1) Look for the tinkerer golem (the annoying one that runs around in the corridors and repairs the other golems) and write down the two words that he screams.

2) visit one of the libraries on the first level, there you will find a book on a foreign language, actually on the numbers of that language - these numbers are the words that the golems scream. And with the book you can "translate" them into normal numbers.
For example "ak,zhand" was "4,3" I think... but you have to look that up yourself.

3) and here comes the catch: go to the control room in the back of the map. There are three consoles. With the two consoles left and right you can input one number each. Input the "name" of the tinkerer golem and then hit the button on the central panel. If the numbers are the right ones, then the golem will be beamed into that room and then auto-destroyed.

You will have to do that for a second golem on that floor as well - the one that guards the stairs down. He, too will scream two numbers in that foreign language.

You can gain more Exp by killing the adamantine golem with your spells or weapon, and then use the controlpanel to destroy it. This will gain you around 1500-2000 Exp. in all

Spells:
-Isaac's greater missile storm.
-Use Mestil's acid sheath on yourself and let the golem destroy himself

the game is case sensitive.
set STR 2 will not work
it must be SetSTR 2

Is there a list of all the commands that can be entered in this way ie. "SetSTR"
Like is there one for GP, Level, Dex ect.

Note that this is a complete list, so many of those aren't really "cheatish" - but all the cheatish ones are listed there too, of course.

Knowing how to cheat now is great (http://www.sorcerers.net/Games/NWN/cons_com.php), but can anyone please tell me how to increase the points in a spceific feat?

For feats you should go ahead and use Leto.

I don't like that way of cheating. Too easy.:laugh:

I suggest, if you're looking for a challange, try making your own character and even your own weapons. When I say your own weapons, I mean try implementing the Bad StrRef propery. It works wonders on multiplayer servers.
