This may be in the wrong foreum but the game said, between loads, that I can transfer my charactors from BG to NeverWinter Nights?? Is this the case or was it just scratched and disposed of.

They intended this option in the very beginning, but then dropped it. Cause of problems with the rules etc.
There would be nothing left from your character except maybe some experience.
I beleive that if you install ToB you dont even get this line anymore.

Yes, you do... I was wondering the same but then I saw posts here stating that this doesn't work (and didn't find the option in NWN either). So, you can't import BG II chars
evenif BG II said you'd be able to.
