I have a small problem, it might have been adressed earlier but the one that proposed the solution is either on vacation or to busy to try again lol. The fact is my version of Neverwinter Nights is in a foreign language. And since there isn't any patch to set it to english. I was wondering if someone could tell me what files I need in order to change the dialogues, and generally any other writen thing back to english. Including the names for stats and other things. Is it just the dialog.tlk I need or do I need anything else. If someone know could you please send it to me to one of the following emails? Or to all of them if possible. memopadilla@mail.com - blackdragon@tokyo.com - deamon@yours.com one has a problem, that's why i'm asking hehe.

Hehe it happens, I live in Italy right now, before that I lived in Sweden, and before that in The Czek Rep. So you see I had to import most of my games, or make due with what I could find there. But if Drakosha dosn't send it to you, hell I will ^.^ Since he's the one that supplied it to me anywho

Hey guys,

mind if I could get a copy of the English language files as well?

I too got hold of a non english version and it is bugging me cos I can't understand a word of it.

Also any accompanying instruction on changing the language files would be much appreciated.

I wonder how people get ahold of games where they don't understand the language in.
It is a pretty good indicator when the language on the box or whatelse is not in english.

Hmmm... about the only possible context that crosses my mind here would be an internet-order in a shop you don't know. The webpages may be in english even though the games are sometimes the localized versions.

But yeah, I perfectly see what you're getting at, Xandax... ;)
Still, "those people" could just as well... acquire... the english version in a few more days, too. =/

Ok Xandar the all knowing, what if it dosn't say? OR what if you can only get games in that language in all the stores of said coutry, and are to much of a paranoid nerd to trust internet ordering sites.

Edit 1: Oh and I found out what the difference betwen dialog.tlk and dialogF.tlk is, it's the dialogue for female pcs. I kinda need that too now since I'm starting the two expansions again with a female pc. Please hehe ^.^

Edit 2: Oh, which reminds me, I changed my email it's now Ilmayter@gmail.com and yes it's the god of suffering from the Forgotten Realms campaign setting.

Cut the sarcasme - it is a perfectly legit consideration.
Especially when looking at:

I'm sorry, but when you buy a game, there are normally very strong tell-tell signs about which language it is in.
A good rule of thumb is that games bought in major european countries are translated into that country langauge.
And if you purchase such items in a forieng country - maybe asking the store first would be a pretty good help as well.
