So I decided to play fallout again...there I am in Junktown, when kenji walks in and tries to pump some lead into Killian...anfortunately, he misses and hits Ian...Killian fires back and hits Ian as well...Ian decides he'd rather kill the guy with fifteen guards on his side, rather than the trashy black dude with a drug problem...That happens so much...it's so annoying...

Anybody else have trouble with the AI?

The "henchman" AI is not terrible intelligent, and I rarely use henchmen in Fallout 1.
However - this can also occur if it is you that miss and hits a NPC you weren't aiming for, and turning everybody hostile towards you. For instance I hit one of Killians guards and thus they started shooting at me
