I seem to have encountered a problem (bug?) - Jax doesn't appear to exist!
According to the NWN walkthrough, he should be just outside the archaeological barracks - but he isn't. I haven't spoken to him so don't have the quest to retrieve the Creator Ruins Tome but have acquired the barracks key from somewhere (can't remember where!). I now have the Tome but Jax is still non-existant. Anyone help?

Sorry - forgot this info. It's only vers 1.11 English and not patched

Patch it first - to version 1.62. It will fix many bugs and problems with the game.

OK - duly patched to v1.62 and still no Jax. Guess I'll just have to forget this quest (well, the reward/exp points anyway) Anyone want to buy a Tome - good condition, rarely used?

Well - you might have to restart the module and/or the game for things to be corrected.
But you only get a minor reward from Jax anyway.
