Finished this a while back, got a new cpu and so decided to load it up and play again. Boy, I don't remember all the problems the first time.

Playing with an elf ranger, using the rogue as my sidekick. I've cleared the Peninsula District with no problem and moved on to the Rats Nest. I'm in the Crypts, and facing the Zombie Lord in one of the corner rooms. None of the weapons Tomi and I have will touch this guy. I haven't come across any magic items yet so not sure what to do at this point.

Any suggestions?

Zombie Lords have 1 stoneskin to cast .... it could be that which is causing you problems?

If you look carefully at the combat messages when your weapon is ineffective, one of them should look something like "damage reduction of X points - 40 points remaining", letting you know that you are working your way through a stone/ironskin, as compared to a weapon immunity or damage resist/soak.

The combat messages are a good way to figure out exactly what is causing you problems/which weapons are effective, etc. I usually pause after the 1st round to see if I am doing the right thing...
