Haer' Dalis

I'm going through the game for the second time, and I decided to play evil.
I want Haer'Dalis in my party. Don't ask me why, I just think he looks cool; ànd I wanna play a bard at least once in my life
This is my party for now:
My monk
Korgan
Anomen (chaotic neutral)
Viconia
Jan
Edwin
My monk is female for a change. I was thinking of getting the Anomen romance, perhaps. Though it isn't necessary. I had him in my good party so I'm kinda sick of him.
Do know the following:
Korgan kicks @$$.
Anomen has the Gauntlets of Dexterity.
Both have proficiency on War Hammer (Crom Faeyr): Korgan ++++, Anomen ++.
Anomen's nickname is "Sir Whine-a-lot".
Viconia is hot.
Jan is my only thief.
Edwin is Da Man.
Tough choice.
But I really want Haer'Dalis...
I myself was thinking of Anomen/Viconia or Edwin. Then I thought that having 2 clerics is sweet. Then I thought that having 2 mages is sweet too.
Please help.

Another thing.
I read that the patch really screws up the monk. What exactly happens? I haven't downloaded it yet, so I'm safe. But should I? I'd like to know if my monk will still kick @$$ like he normally does.

IMHO i would kick Anomen out(I can not stand his Braggin ass)Plus i never needed more than 1 cleric.2 mages or more is IMO the way to go.It depends on your playing style. Hope this helps.Hold on a minute and i will post what the patch does to a mock.

This is what the patch is suppose to fix with a monk.Monk's now suffer from non proficieny penalties.Monk's can no longer attack the same number of times per round armed as unarmed. That's all i could find.

Haer´s Dalis a Bard ????????
HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA
I pick him up in my 1st run because I play a female character in the game (ELF F/M) back from Baldur´s Gate TOSC and I tough he was the female romance.
he is useless lousy Lore rate, lousy bard song, lousy HP and has hitting on aerie.
Besides he is a tiefling he suppose have a tail like annha from Torment.
He is just USELESS

I didn't know Tieflings were supposed to have tails--Cool! Maybe he keeps his tucked away? Hehe...What romances CAN you do with a female? (Female/Elf/Swashbuckler) Cuz I think Haer'Dalis is awesome.
I'm with Weasel- Ditch Anomen, cuz I don't like his braggy ass either; Haer'Dalis is way cooler, romance or no.

I´m sorry to say but the only romance you will get when playing a female character is Anomen.....so you´ll just have to put up with his arrogance......then of course if you get fed up with him you could always kill him.....

Any ideas on how to improve his HP? Coz they're really low... With dual wield, he's got to be a frontal fighter. Only catch is he'll be dead almost instantly with that 9 CON.
Thanks for the advice.

I want to apologize for misleading you all about Tieflings.
Tieflings are a race of mix heritage, half-Human and half-lower Planes (Fiend and the like).
Because of that heritage thy possess characteristics of both parents like tails but can also have Horns, Wings, Talons, Lower AC, Goat legs, Natural Resistance to Fire, Etc..
IF someone Played PLANESCAPE, TORMENT thy probably remember this.
Again I apologize.

Drakron- No reason to apologise-- I haven't been able to find that game yet (Planescape: Torment), frantically searching though I am! I'm beginning to think I might have to order it online, who knows.

It should be available at your local Comp USA or software store. If not, then try ordering it on amazon.com or somewhere. It's very worth it.

There a still a lot of them for sale in the stores here but I Live in Lisbon, Portugal.
Haer´ Dalis is not a good choice for a 1st run in the game but it is a decision for one to make after all. still He should have some unique abilities and the swords are SHORT SWORDS.
If bioware wanted to put some Rare NPC species they should Give them a Unique look too (AERIE get hers wings Back, Haer´Dalis have a tail).
Besides how many people plays a Half-Orc in the game.

Give Haer' Dalis the girdle of fortitude to raise his CON to 18. This will help with the HP problem. You just have to remember to use it after you rest. Haer' has some great abilities (def spin, spells, etc.) so he can be fun, but probably not for the beginner.
I'd drop Jan, just because I don't like him from a role-playing point of view.
The patch only screws the monk if you usually use weapons. Stick with the open hand unless you need a weapon's magical abilities for a particular fight. Their open hand attacks rule! Plus there's just something cool about beating armored foes with your bare hands.

I agree entirely with Drakron again; I was really looking foreward to seeing an Elf with wings, and maybe even giving my character some as well, but what do I get? Nada. And that was one of the things that first got me interested in Planescape: Torment, was the chick I saw in the ads w/ wings and a tail...I think maybe Black Isle cheated us a little. How come I can't be a Tiefling, too? *arched eyebrow*

Exactly in Torment there is a npc that has wings. I believe her name is Fall from Grace.
If you have the game she will explain her name if you want to.

That's it! I'm buying it.

What's the deal w/ the main char in PS:T? Can you design one, is one made for you, what?

Carrot forgets to mention the best part about Fall from Grace, she's a succubus. To some of you this must mean something.

Sorry, forgot to answer your question.
This was the only real disappointment I got from PS:T, you can not pick your own character. You're always male and you always have the same face. All you can change are the stats. But he's a nice char to play, I liked him.
