I need help

Hi everyone
I just bought this game because i love the Baldur's Gate series and wanted to try IW2. However, upon trying to install, i discover that my computer cant read the setup program file. I dont know if there is a manual way to install the game, but it seems that setup.exe is corrupt...thus i cant install it!!!
The only other thing i can think of is if someone sent me an uncorrupt version of setup application...

i dont know if i can provide any help but i can try!!
you can manually install the game its not too hard but youll might get the same message, did you get this error when you just popped in the disc and waited for the menu to come up?
i had to exact same problem once but not when trying to install, i had messed with some things in my computer system and when i went to play the game i got the pop-up error saying the file was corrupt, i had to uninstall and reinstall it anyway though and it worked afterwards
anyway once we figure out whats wrong i think youll enjoy the game...and welcome to the IWD II forum! youll see my annoying elfish self around here

i really wanna play IW2!!!!
How exactly would i go about manually installing it?
The only way i can think to do it was bypass the autorun and run setup...but 'setup' is the corrupt file.....
There are no scratches on my cd, so i really dont know waht to do.
The only thing i can think of is if i copy the whole cd to my hardrive and run the install from there, but id still need 'setup' application...of which mine is dead.
Could you maybe email me a copy of 'setup.exe' from your cd?!?!
Just for interest, the error message that i get is thus

well how would i send you my setup.exe file?
i have to reinstall my game again since my computer crashed and we just uploaded windows and everything again...ill have to get back to you on the steps to manually install it as i dont remember exactly, it takes a little bit though and i may be wrong and you need the setup file
id be glad to email you my copy or provide any other help...just let me know how
