If i'm a fighter type (or anything else then a mage/cleric) where should I put more point in wisdom or intelligence?

Depends on what type of fighter - strictly fighter (neither or very little), paladin (wisdom), fighter/mage (int).... the list goes on, but mostly since you said fighter type, IMO would put more in wisdom. Better to be wise and dumb, than smart and stupid (for limited wish). Just worry about the other stats such as str/dex/con they are the most important to you.

I think, folks, we're forgetting the Beholder chap in Sauhagin city, where wisdom makes all the difference. And I'm sure that there's other occasions where wisdom helps.

Paladins automatically get plenty of Wisdom, and don't receive bonus spells if you crank it up, IIRC.

What does Wisdom do there?

I thought that Charisma is what let you talk him into letting you have the chests contents. Are you positive that it is wisdom?

I would spend points on Intellegence before wisdom but also avoid min/maxing a character for roleplaying reasons
