Where is staff of magi?

Where in the game is staff of magi? Is the staff/quest only attainable to a sorcerer/mage?

The Staff of the Magi is the reward for the "Twisted Rune" quest.
Check out Gamebanshee's walkthrough for the Bridge District to find more information on how to get the quest. (Bridge District, note #5 on their walkthrough)

You find the Staff of the Magi on one of the bodies after battling the Twisted Rune. The mage's/sorceror's stronghold quests have nothing to do with them.

The Staff of the Magi is among the booty you'll find after you take care of the Twisted Rune gang, over in the Bridge District. You'll need a rogue stone to even get past the door. I would *not* suggest trying this before your characters are at least level 12/13 and that you have plenty of nifty items and spells at the ready.
