Do the extra attack abilities of Belm and the Scarlet Ninja-to stack if you dual weild them?

yes, but you need to be a high level theif or bard.

yeah, but the scarlet ninja-to us only usable by monks. damn.

Nah, if you have TOB, rogues can get a "use any item" ability.

OMG!!! where? how? is it an innate or something?

Was going to mention this in the dual class topic, but to get the use any item ability (the crown jewel of theifdom - use the holy avenger on a paladin) you have to be a 24th level theif and this is only available if you have the Throne of Bhaal expansion which is generally discussed on another forum. - Curdis

better be a assassin fighter or fighter thief...

holy avenger is not usable well by thif alone...and to get the maximum effectiveness of holy avenger, the thif will need profs, preferably grand master in two handed.

best i have seen is a assassin fighter, dual dirctly after getting use any item, and assassinate. no, you dont really get the other killer ability of assassins in tob, spike traps, but at this point you have got some poison weapons and the all important abilty to use any item, and assassinate is such a killer ability for fighter thief!!!! this is so killer.....hide in shadows, get up to target, hit assassinate, then greater whirlwind...I think this would work both both are one round only abilities, so a fighter mage theif may be better...


all the greater skills are really spells, so improved acuity will allow you to cast

draw on holy might
poison wep
assassinate
whirlwind...

do it in this order!!! holy might lasts around 2-4 rounds, poison 2, and the last 2 one rounders. set to pause after every spell, and for about a round you can do around 80+ damage!!!!

kill and disrupt spell casting on dragons in one round!!!

just to see if I could, and I set up restrictions to not add spells into the innate normal editor limit, so I ended up with a kensai, cause its more stable. done this a few times.

took kensai, added 3 anti magic rays, which you cannot use until sorc, added 3 poison weapons and 1 use any item. kensai kit rocks!!! the thalco is obscene at lower levels, and the thalco is so much better than any other kit!!! kai is rather a sucky ability, and I much perfer posion weapon, the spell disrupt ability is killer!!!

kai sounds great until you realize unless you draw on holy might it addes a few points her e and there, and when you draw on holy might thats it, you just double your damage. kai is sucky but the thalco of a kensai is so killer its obscene. was whacking a clay golem with non magic sword, hitting but he was immune.

anyway, covert kensai to true class sorc, add a few attacks per round, default is 1, and you;ve got a killer char, who has obscene saves, gnome, killer spells, and can whack dragons with holy avenger. holy avenger on whirlwind and poison rocks!!! so I enjoy poisoning the holy of holies, the carmosyr, and having a little jan jansen lookalike wield it, much better than keldy, by the way.

pooburglar: basically a thief gets this skill in ToB (or in the later stages of SoA, if I am not mistaken if ToB is installed) as a Skill. More can be found in the ToB section of GameBanshee

They dont stack with my wizardslayer thief.
