If you choose to go with Saemon, from the Asylum, back to mainland, can you still go to the Underdark?? please help

either way, u still have to go thru underdark

Yes. You have to, in fact. Saemon's route takes you the long way round in the end, but it gives you the chance for some excellent items and more xp. And that's a good thing.
