I just talked to Old Mebeth and have become a mage, I’ve also copied a bunch of spells, so now I want to know how do I actually use them? I'm about to go into the catacombs and will be decimated if I don't have a spell to kick some zombie with.

Magic works as such:
1. You write spells to your spell book(hotkey W)
2. Allocate which spells you would like to memmorize
3. Rest
4. Now you can cast the spells you've memmorized

Now details. Intelligence determines what level spells you can memmorize and how many of each level, so when you get a chance improve your Int (tattoos come to mind). And once you've cast all your spells it's time to rest again. Also you have a limited amount of spell slots in which you can memmorize spells, so choose wisely. Hope that helped.
