SPOILER (maybe) Meldanen's Silver Tooth?

Okay I've exhausted everything I can find in Chapter 1, but I can't figure out what to do with the Tooth. Anyone know?

The thoot is the proof that you have killed Meldanen and should be given to Fermose outside in the Blacklace district.
