Bugged Quest (spoiler)

During the finding of the druids in the Neverwinter wood, you eventually come to the Dryad's home. One of the druids is in there but originally attacks you till near death. In my case when it said not to attack anymore, it didn't stop the last hit and the human was killed bugging the quest. I don't know if it can be completed now but it would certainly be nice if a safeguard was implemented to prevent such things.

Well - unfortunally - I don't know if there is any way to save the quest.
Possible it can be done using the console and spawning another version of the druids into the game, disbanding him from your party and then talking to him. (They are spawned in friendly and into your party as summons).
It might be possible to do this - and if you wish - I can try to find the itemtag in the toolset for the druid and provide you with the console commands? - or you can do it yourself if you wish.


As for safeguards - well - most often this dosen't happen because they go neutral and your character stops attacking them, however there are glitches (is your game patched?) and you just seem to have been very unlucky in this case
