I recently installed Bloodmoon, then got Tribunal, installed it and then re-installed Bloodmoon. The game works fine but at one point in the 'Hunt the Dark Brotherhood' I get round to killing their boss man leader Dandras Vules. However, just before he dies the conversation window thing appears and he says something like "You dare enter the lair of the Dark Brotherhood? Now we will finish our job, prepare to die." (that's not the exact words) but they keep repeating over and over and each time I press Goodbye the window just re-appears and he says the line over and over again!

Is this a bug that means I must start anew with a new character or is there a way I around this? I've killed every other guy there but it's just really annoying!

Any help will be much appreciated, kudos.

Edit : Also, with this character I have not completed the quest to be Nerevarine, do I need to do this first?

All I can tell you is tht the Nerevarine quest shouldn't interfere with this. I went over there and attempted to do that stuff before even learning about Ashlanders. Then I got stck at the Orc Army part because my character was too weak.

So, no, not being the Nerevarine shouldn't cause problems.

i had the same problem sometimes in the tribunal expansion (also installed after the bloodmoon,so that could be the glitch)
i recomend u download the patch(for both expanisons) from the gamebanshee site, that did it for me.......later it happened again though,so the only option was to switch off the character AI via the console before the speech menu.....)

same thing happened to me when i taunted somebody and i kept getting the old "Goodbye" thing.... It must just be a bug... dont worry about it

It's a known bug. The latest Bloodmoon patch fixes it. Do not apply Tribunal patches if you have Bloodmoon installed!!!
