my torment cd4 is (partially) damaged

Hey everyone,
I know this is probably a big ask, but I'm sort of stuck otherwise, so...
I installed PS:T again the other day, following some instructions somewhere to do a full install. When it came to copying the contents of cd4 to my hard drive, I found that a small part of the top of the cd has come off. (I seem to remember accidentally dropping it a while ago, but I don't remember it being damaged - it must have weakened it at the time, and came off since then.)
Anyway, I'm missing about 19Mb worth of files from cd4; everything else copied okay (after a lot of fiddling). So what I'm asking (this is the big ask) is if it would be possible for someone to upload these 19Mb worth of files (details below) somewhere so that I can download them.
I have an ftp account that can be uploaded to if someone can spare the time to do it (contact me and I'll give you the details). Of course if someone has their own ftp (or something) space they would want to use instead, that would be very helpful too.
These are the files I'm missing:
AR3001.bif
AR3010.bif
AR3011.bif
AR3014.bif
AR3015.bif
AR3016.bif
CA_abs.bif
CA_adv.bif
CA_cam.bif
(Approximately: 19.3Mb)
Can anyone help me out with this? Thanks in advance.
Joseph.

I have the 2-CD version of Torment, which uses a different compression technique than the 4-CD version. So I don't think that my files are compatible with yours.
You didn't say where you are located, but if there is a Wal-Mart or a Fry's Electronics in your area, I suggest that you see if they have a copy of the 2-CD version in stock. The Wal-Mart in my area charges $9.99, and Fry's only charges $4.99. It also comes with another game called Soulbringer (which I haven't played). If you skip lunch a couple of times this month (if you have to pay for it otherwise), you won't notice that the money's gone.
If you buy the 2-CD version, you'll need to reinstall the game, because the version of TORMENT.EXE from the 4-CD version cannot read the data files from the 2-CD version.
Good luck!

VonDondu - I actually live in a small country town in Australia. No Wal-marts or Fry's around here.

No computer games stores in town at all, actually. If I spotted Torment around at those sorts of prices (though more likely twice the price in AUS$, unfortunately), I
would probably just buy another copy.
Thanks for the advice, anyway.
Joseph.

I know this thread is old but as I seem to have the same problems I saw no point in starting another one.
I heard a lot of this game over the years and a few weeks ago I bought it of a friend. I enjoyed it hugely up until yesterday when the game failed to load a new area. I play directly from the CD not bothering until now about copying the files to the HD.
Trying to copy the files to the HD I find out that 2 files are indeed damaged (I have tried CD recovery programs failing to handle it) probably due to a risp on the cd. Quite disturbing as the missing files are indeed two of the last areas in the game, namely ar1200 and ar1201 from CD4 (I think it's Fortress Entrance and Fortress of Regrets).
So now I wonder if some kind soul could help me with this cause I really want to finish the game (I think I played over 10 hours yesterday, I got really hooked)
The following files are damaged
AR1200.bif
AR1201.bif
Together the files are aproximately 38.5 MB so quite large I'm afraid.
So if someone either could email them to me or contact me so I could get them via another media (ICQ for example) I would be forever grateful.
My email is:

Oh, dear, I guess it's a doom or smth like that! My 1st CD(from 4CDs) crashed and I don't know what to do!!! Please, HELP!!! I LOVE this game, but I LOST ALL the 1st installation CD! I don't think I'll be able to get it, because I never saw it on sale, at least in my city (and in my country, even via Internet). Could you possibly advise me some definitely reliable site where I could buy new CDs, or any other way out? Thanks!

It's selling for $12.50 on Amazon.com. Not too bad.

Thanks, Fable! I'm going to ask all my friends and if they don't have it, I'll try Amazon.com.

Fortunately, one of my friends has the game and he promised to copy it for me!
