HOTU: Soldaris, south tunnel, is it a bug?

i have to fight soldaris, the high priest in the cult temple in Drearing's Deep, in order to get the key to the crypt but...
i cannot find him
i read he should be at 3° floor, but i found just an elite cult guard, a trap door and many chests and containers, but not the priest.
so, how can i get the key?
