Do you people like to play it with party companion or the lone wolf way??
I think it may be more interesting the second one, so what character class would you recommend for this?

If you're going alone, I'd take a Scout, since he can do a bit of everything. But it's better to have specialised NPC's with you. NPC's also add to the story.

I like solo too
Well, I agree. I just hate my party. The most annoying thing for me is when I am slowly sneaking up on a party of dark jedi, preparing to blow them to bits, and I get teleported back to my idiot buddy Carth to help him through some personal difficulties. But in response, I believe that maybe a scout-sentinal is probably the best, because he is so even. He can hack and burn!!! HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEEHEHEHEHEHE!!!!

Well I like both lone wolf and party. Because if you go by yourself it's more difficult to kill all the guys so its fun to have more of a challenge.

I use Mission to go to Stealth Mode so she can sneak around like in Sith Base when Mission had very good stealth skill. It very useful for looking around without enemies notice Mission if their awareness roll failed again stealth skill.
Mission said, "no one gonna see THIS Mission!" as she entered Stealth Mode.
If there is one enemy, she can do sneak attack on him while in Stealth Mode. Taking her out of stealth mode but she can finish him off if his hit point is very low.

I'm one tough cookie. Ok, maybe not.
I personally HATE going on solo mode. You lose depth to the game and you can't piss the living bajesus out of your allies (maybe enemies later

) during missions. Also, you cant let them go rush into to battle while you just stand back, watch them die, and chuck grenades(sp?) at them.
Its just no fun

Thanx for the feedback. Well, I agree that there are more dialogs when you go with your party than solo, but there´s a lot more challenge in defeating 2 Dark Jedi and one Apprentice just by yourself than with 3 chars (for instance).

Ya very true and just wondering if anybody knows when you go with no party members do you get more experience to yourself or does it automatically split it up with you and your NPCs?

I´m not really sure, but i´d say you share every single XP point with all your mates even if they dont go with you, as though their souls followed you or so. It´s kinda weird but i think it works like that.

It is handy when you want to have good NPC's.

true just wondering if it did because when I went without NPC's it seemed like I got more XP, but I'm pretty sure I'm wrong because that doesn't make much sense when you go back to the Ebon Hawk and the NPC's are ready to lvl up like 4 lvls ya know after not using them for a while.

So extrapolating from the above thread, the challenge is: can you win the game without
ever using any NPCs in your party?
There are a few places where you have to use an NPC, like:
[Spoilers!]
On Taris you need T3-M4 to slice into the Sith military base. On Dantooine, if you're doing Light Side, you need HK-47 to negotiate with the Sand People. Etc.
[/Spoilers]
But otherwise you can never use any NPCs. Has anyone done this? How'd it go?
I might try this starting as a Scoundrel -- so I can sneak around using Stealth and avoid triggering masses of enemies -- and then go into either Jedi Guardian (Stun + Force Jump + Sneak Attack = fun!) or Jedi Consular (lots of FP = even more fun!).

Err...Joshua I wasn't challenging if you could win the game without ever using any NPC's. All I was saying was it seemed like I got more XP when I went by myself, but I was also saying I was probably wrong. Anyways and(SPOILER)
You don't need HK-47 to do Tatooine you can do it just as well by hacking the sand people to pieces.

Re: HK-47... really?
You can hack the Sand People apart without gaining Dark Side points? I'll have to try that.
Back to the original question -- does the number of NPCs in your party effect your XP -- it should be pretty simple to test this. Load a game right before a fight and test it with 0, 1, and 2 NPCs in your party, comparing the XP you gain each time. I am pretty sure it makes no difference, but I'll check.
