Topic pretty much explains it. What is your most used item? Mine would have to be my moonshadow amulet, or boots of blinding speed. They both come in handy to get away from those pesky ordinators(I got caught wearing their armor so they dont leave me alone) so, those items help to get away.

Probably my healing items at this point, since after a battle I often don't have enough magicka left to heal myself and it is not always safe to rest.

don't understand the question - i wear my armor constantly. And CE clothes and rings also (CE fortify strength, sanctuary and night eye to compensate blindness from my boots)...

But as for "useable" items: I use amulet with jump +40 for 20 seconds, master's lockpicks a lot. Also amulet of restoration (restores little bit of all the attributes) when needed. And weapons of course - unenchanted daedric dai-katana and Goldbrand.

Also surprisingly useful is the little velothian helm that restores 10 health every time it is used. Great as a top-up item, very quick to use, re-charges rapidly and I believe it only weighs 1.0......

Amulet of recall is pretty useful too.

Not so much used, but I still like them, are "Sea-going pants". These are an item I crafted. Start with a pair of exquisite pants, and add both water breathing (on self of course), and night-eye of about 30, running on constant effect to fill all the available enchantment capacity (which is 40).

A word of advice. To equip the boots of blinding speed without being blinded you should get a spell of some sort that gives you some magicka resistance. Now go to a spellmaker and get them to craft a spell that gives 100 resistance for three seconds. Cast that before equipping th boots. Do not remove this spell to save room thinking that now you'll never need it again. A single fight can reduce the boots from full strength to 0, in which case they become unequipped until you fix them with an armourers hammer.

Im surprised that anyone really uses any item offered by the game itself. I have found that creating my own enchanted items is far more effective. I even have a Constant Effect Flame Astonach following me for fun. (the Mantel of Woe and Necromancers Amulet are definite exeptions).

Enchanted Exquisite Belt - Bound Long Bow for 120 seconds. It uses most of the enchantment but by the time it wares off I can cast it again so its just as good as CE.

Ring of Khajit- Lets me be invisible and run faster for 30 seconds. Useful for when I travel over land or sea and want to avoid cliff racers, slaughterfish and other lesser monsters.

I like to steal, so... lockpicks. And my Daedric Longbow. It makes sure I almost never have to engage in close combat.
