Help..HotU Lever Puzzle

I have 2 of the statues zapping the door, but when I try to rotate the 3rd one (on the right), I get a message "some hidden device prevents it from moving"......? What hidden device - using the lever doesn't help. Stumped !????

IIRC - if you have pulled a leaver, you have locked the statue in its position, and if that position isn't correct you can't complete the puzzle. So most likely you have (accidently) locked the statue.
I got the same thing to my first time through, but as far as I know you will not miss out on some "exceptional" stuff, so just forget about it and move on.
The way it is (should be) done is to move one statue so it faces the door - pull the leaver (showing some "magical shield" effect) and locking the statue, then do the same with the other two.
