plugin trouble :( :( :(

i've searched the web thoroughly and found the best 100 or so mods (i know it's sad). but i can't actually get them to work. why? because when i open up my intro screen, it only has play. you can't click data files. i don't know what the problem is. is it possible someone could send me the file so that it would work?
