Intelligent weapon?

Okay, I've played through the game, yet despite the bone the manual threw about being able to 'graft intelligence' to a weapon, I haven't found out how to do this.
Anyone have any ideas?

Nevermind, I found it. Was dissappointed to find out that Enserric could only be one of three weapons, none of which I could or would use.
However, I did find out how to re-create him as other weapons through the Aurora Toolset, if anyone wants to know how or just wants their own Enserric the Dire Mace or whatever, just lemme know. I made an Enserric the Two-Bladed Sword, and the time spent was just priceless
