When you get to Korriban you meet an alien and he asks you to get him some spices hidden in the ship, after doing so he gives you a box and tells you "UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD YOU OPEN THE BOX"......Im trying to beat the game on the light side this time but if its dark side point it wont matter....some dark side points wont affect me...the question is WHATS IN THE BOX??? Is it like some huge amount of money as a pay from the alien to the hutt on Tatoinne? Plz get back to me ASAP.....

Save your game, open it up and see for yourself.

the unknown world as he was obviously of the rakatan species and maybe further the plot with the box a little more.

Also, "dark side points wont affect me" is
wrong. If you are have light side mastery and have earned every single Light Side Point available (let's say, for the sake of argument, that this is a total of 200 LSPs), and then get one measly DSP, you will have a score of 99 on your scale and
you will lose Light Side Mastery.
But, as for most of the stuff in these RPGs, it's usually save and try for yourself ... usually.

(*cough* Genoharadan *cough*)

Unless he's playing the Xbox version, in which the two masteries have no effect anyway.
I was disappointed that you couldn't do anything with the box on the unknown world too, for the record.

I was unhappy about the box too. I *did* it all right but there was nothing about it. No effect whatsoever. I think it's pretty annoying. Spoiler

Didn't even make a difference in the conv with the slimball(as Han Solo would say) Motta. I tried everything because the quest summary said something like *we still have no idea what the hutt wants with the box* so I thought there is a way to get him talk about it and I missed it (like it does matter in the geoharadan quest wheter you show up alone or not - at least it will say something else in the summary). I was disappointed to discover there wasn't....
+I also followed up all the questions with the prisoner guy inside... nothing came out of it...

Accually if you ask the guy all the questions about him and how he got there before leaving, it could probably add more to the story, I did and he said lots of important things about who he was and where he came from......Ohhh and by the way I didnt have light side mastery and this is my second time playing the game and I have gotten most of the light side stuff but im still close to the middle of the meter.....

you can regain mastery if you go down the wrong path accidentaly. know how? go down the right path again. one act will do it.
gl. remember.
there is no spoon.

after leaving dantooine i have ls mastery usually by the end of the first planet i go to afterwards. unless it's manaan which has very few ls quests. taris has a buttload of chances for ls points as does dantooine, tatooine, and kashyyk, even korriban quests have the option of gaining ls points while still getting prestrige. not to mention ls points that come from character sidequests such as mission's brother, bastila's mother, etc.

and there's the unlimited light points glitch
(spoiler)?
when talking to rahasia sandral about the family fued (great name for a tv show), tell her you won't help, then quickly apologize. you can keep on apologizing for a light side bonus/penalty.
