I have seen other people say they made a Kensai-mage character, but when I made the kensai and dueled it to mage, I lost all the abilities of the kensai. You know, only use staff and darts blah blah blah. Am I missing something?

You lose them till you get back past the level of the other class..(Mage 9 level...you would have to go to level 10 in the other class,)
