Just yesterday, after several weeks of playing Torment, certain areas in the game (second floor in the Mortuary and the Lower Ward, so far) are visually obscured by colored static, similar to that found on television. I recently updated my NVIDIA GeForce4 4200 Go drivers (straight from the NVIDIA website), so I reverted back to older drivers, but that did not solve the problem.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I'd advise you to put this question under our separate Tech Support forum. Most of us here are very familiar with the game, and we can offer some tech basics, but the people who hang out in the Tech Support area were involved in the creation of the universe--they're that good. Or close.

Actually, I tried deleting the cache and temp folders, and that seems to have worked.
