Building your attributes
Like they taught you on your first day in Jedi school, young Padawan, there are always nifty items you can buy or kill which raise attributes.

The question is, what attributes are most likely to need your personal attention and increases during the game, for lack of anything truly important that can improve them?

Dexterity, without a doubt. It ecompasses the widest amount of things that affect you, including getting hit from anything, hitting others with ranged weapons, etc. With a high Dex you can last almost forever.
On the other hand, if you have a decent Dex and Constitution, a high Strength is awesome and powerful, but is still not as independantly good as Dexterity.
Constitution isn't needed, Charisma isn't that great and you still can get Dominate Mind anyway, Wisdom isn't needed as much since with a good lightsaber you don't need to use heavy powers against bosses who block stuff anyway, and intelligence merely affects skills.

But aren't there fantastic Dexterity-improving items out there? I seem to recall a couple. I'm asking if there's an attribute you personally feel needs raising, because there are no goodies to do it for you.

Well, along this line of thinking, since there are great strength-, dexterity-, wisdom- (pc-version) improving items and intellegence/charisma are not so vital, probably constitution would be nice to boost up. More hitpoints help

I still feel that dexterity is important throughout. Agility, speed, defence. From a roleplaying viewpoint, sounds like indispensable qualities of a jedi knight
Just my 2 pennies.

Makes sense. And it lets you twirl a mean pizza, too.

What the Beemon Package (+3con) and the Cardio Power system(+4con) aren't enough for you? A soldier/guardian with full toughness and Cardio Power implant is over 300 hit pts. How much more do you need? With that kind of HP you can stand toe to toe with Malak and not even breathe hard.

Oops, I forgot about those
Well, it's really your pick, then --> since you can't possibly have all stats increasing items equipped at the same time, investing in the respective ones you cannot equip would be sensible.
I still would take extra dexterity though

Depends on the character type.
Bear in mind that strength, dexterity and constitution can be raised with stims in a pinch.
Unless you're a ranged character (which few PCs are, I guess), then there's little point raising dexterity much past 14 or 15. Using Jedi robes you'll continue to gain defense from dexterity until it hits 26, but why spend the points? You've got your Force Sense, possibly Dueling, Force Speed/Armour... it's unlikely you'll ever find yourself desperately in need of more defense, but if you do, you can throw a hyper-adrenal stim and perhaps Valor for another 11 dex (5 defense - 6 with a dex base 15). Any more than 15 you're shortchanging yourself.
Strength, on the other hand, you can never have too much of, because there's no limit to the amount of bonus damage you can squeeze out of it. Of course, it's also probably the easiest stat in the game to raise (+2 from the CNS strength enhancer, +5 from the dominator gauntlets, maybe +5 from a certain set of robes, plus 11 again in temporary buffs). But if you're using a lightsaber, you really can't go wrong with more strength.
Constitution is okay. It's pretty pointless investing in implants for the purpose of raising constitution, since you could just as easily put three feats into toughness for an effective +6 constitution bonus in addition to that DR 2 - unless you're a scout, in which case you'll probably get at least the first two levels for free. But again, the fact that you can (and more than likely will) end up buffing 6 constitution through feats, and up to 11 temporarily, means that there are other things you could spend your points on.
Intelligence, as we all know, is a bit of a non-event. I usually play a 14 intelligence character just because I like a bit of versatility in my PC, but there's no real need.
Which leaves wisdom and charisma, which do much the same thing except that wisdom's modifier is applied to more skills than charisma's and also will saves. These are very good things to put points into. There are no stims for increasing them, and if you're going dark you won't really have anything to increase your wisdom with at all - and the dark powers are the ones that benefit most from these modifiers.
So yeah. With a balanced character, I'll usually spend my points on strength and/or wisdom. But you can quite easily get away with dumping everything into strength, particularly if you're a light side guardian.
And that's about all I got to say about that.

In that case it would be along the lines of Wisdom. There are a few Wisdom-raising items, but not enough to help out.
