Should I Wait?

I'm usually the kind of guy who waits for the price to go down a bit and for proper patches to be available before buying a game. So taking that into consideration do you think I should wait or run out and grab a copy now?

Well, the price tag is still 50 bucks USD and there are no patches yet, so given those two criteria, you might want to wait.
Personally, I've had relatively few problems so far, and all of those have had to do with hiring NPCs.
You might be able to find an auction price for the game for less than $50.

Depends in wot you expect by the game apart from some issues the patch(es) would fix.
If you want a hack and slash dungeon crawling game then u could go and grab your copy now, if u'd prefer some better rp and/or better price then wait for patches

depends on what your playing now, i ran out of games/ played them all, so i bought it, actually had a gift card from work only good at work, so the game cost me 5 bucks usda approved, however i do like the game a lot, got more moves and better graphics than bg1 bg2, but neverwinter nights was better as far as controlling, i liked the 360 degree angle view, however the turned based feature of this game rocks and does not compare to any rpg i have played, yes i would but it, it rocks patch or no.

I'd have to recommend you wait for a patch. While some have no problems, or few problems like me, some of the bugs are dangerous and though i might be dumb enough to play anyway...i can't in good conscience recommend anyone else to do so.
Many people have complained that the game reboots their comp...and that's always bad.

Thanks... I'm actually playing Dragon Warrior VII on playstation right now so I'm not dreadfully bored. I guess I'll wait... I'm in no rush. And it would probably be a bad idea from the academic standpoint for me to buy a new game, because I'd get even less work done.
