Drivers for monitor

Hi, I recently got an used monitor from my old. It's an 17'' from his old Gateway 2000 system. It was better than my 15'', so I changed the monitor. However, I can't find Windows XP drivers for the monitor. The only driver I could find is for Windows 95. The monitor is a Vivtron 1776. I went to Gateway's website, but apparently they stopped supporting anything related to the Gateway 2000 systems. Right now Windows XP thinks the monitor as a Default Plug and Play. My desktop is not straight on the edges; it's sort of curvy, just a little bit.

I don't know anyway to correct that problem, so I came here to ask for help. Thanks.

Usually monitor drivers just give you more specific control over refresh rates. For pincushioning effects you'll need to adjust the image using the monitors controls (usually done with buttons on the front fo the monitor).

@Mr. Flibble:

I've tried to adjust the buttons, but my desktop still does not look straight on the edges. It's not that big of a deal, but I would just like it to be fixed.
