4 sceptres in Watcher's Keep

I have reached my wits end. I have the air and slime sceptres, but cannot locate the other 2, hot and cold. Where are they? Also, I cannot seem to cause ANY damage to the ice mists or ice golem, even fire-based spells do no good. HELP!!!

each wizards lab has notes telling you how to defeat the creatures of the next lab. There is a scepter in each lab.

turn on all the fans in the air room and direct them to the slime room. Now open all the doors from air - slime and slime - ice and the slime cloud will blow into the ice lab. The ice creatures are now weakened. For the firelab, lure the elementals into the ice lab and consult the notes on how to defeat the fire giant because i cant remember.
