I need help instaling SoU. when i click on the icon to get the window where it says instal, it give me a mesage. Im going to try to translate but im also going to display it in danish if anyone knows the language (*cough*Xandax*cough*) im not a great technical person but it seems im missing a DLL file. here it is first danish then english
"Filen AUTORUN.EXE er sammenkædet med en manglende eksportfil OLEAUT32.DLL:173"
"The file AUTORUN.EXE is linked to a missing exportfile OLEAUT32.DLL:173"
i hope you know what it means. exportfile is directly translated so its probaply wrong

What OS and what service pack are you running. It seems that your OLEAUT32.DLL is outdated (or missing, check your \system32 directory) and the only thing I've been able to dig up is to try and get a new version (possible from Service Packs ... check out Microsoft site)
EDIT: or try this zip file if you dare. I just fell over it, dunno if it will fix it or not.

OS is indeed operating systems. Service Packs are patches microsoft releases for their OS. For instance Service Pack 4 have just been released for Win2K. (dunno what there is for XP) I think Win98 had some also.
You (maybe?) proberly have to be in "safe mode" to repleace the file then.
I am not really sure, cause I've never seen this problem before and the information on the net is very limited.

The best way(IMO) is to go through the Win98 CD, just start the computer with the cd and when the boot screen asks if you want to boot form the hard drive or the CD-ROM then select the cd and voilá you're running with any files on the hard drive. This usually takes care of all those cases when Safe mode doesn't work
There's also supposed to be an option when you shut down the computer(in the list where you select to shut down/reboot/sleep/Reboot into MS-DOS) the altter being what you want to select

I seem to recall in Win98 that you could boot up in DOS from the boot menu (same place you select "safe mode").

You could also create a boot diskette and use that...it would do the same thing but at an even lower level. But I think you need the CD to create it anyways.....

great :d just make sure that your boot sequence detects the disk and you should be fine
