I was wondering scince i didnt play the game much yet are the creatures you summon permanent?And can you have as many henchmen as mcuh as u want?

All summoned creatures have a lifespan wich is untill they die or the time of the spell runs out.
Check the spell description (in the manual or the game) for the excat time a creature is summoned.

And you can have one henchman at any given time. If they die they will be spawned again at the same place you teleport to using your stone of recall.

so you cannt get more than one at a time?Cos you could in bg series.

No. You can only have 1 henchmen at any given time.

What can a ranger have as an animal?

When you create a ranger character your'll get to choose an animal companion. Go check it out.

And one moreee thing =) , about animal companians/familiars can anyone pls list them for me.

That is because a ranger doens't get it untill later.

If you read the manual you will find answers to many of you questions. For instance this question will be answered if you read about the ranger in the manual (my version page 64 under ranger special abilities)

Man im realy sorry but i dont have a manual when my grandma got it for me she got it from the shop near us.U see they sell them original but with no boxes just a plastic cover so theyr cheaper.Dont belive me if u want to but im serious.So can anyone pls tell me how to trigger different animal companions cos i dont want the halk but it keeps coming =(

Check your game libary for the folder called docs. It contains a manual of the game.

And I must say withouth trying to sound condesending but I really doubt it would be legal to sell the original game but omit the manual.

Yes, it's and exact copy. You need Adobe Acrobat to read it which can be found on the install disc.

Where the hell does it say where the companions are it sais pg 103 but there are spells there?

Why don't you just look up the reference in the back of the manual? There you can find the exact page for anything you might be wondering about....

PS. if you seriously believe that the game is a legal copy then you need a reality check..... only about 10% of the games sold in Malta are legal which is why I bought very few games while I lived there......there is ofcourse a chance that the game is legal, I myself just bought a copy of LOD which did not contain a manual but with a unique CD key.....

I might have gotten riped but then how can i pla yonline and stuff?

Not a clue.... you might have gotten lucky and actually gotten a legal copy

well..... I have lived in Malta for 3 years but I'm really from Sweden..... I actually think that there is one other Maltese that is a meber of this forum...not sure of what his/hers username is but I was mighty surprised when I saw that he was from Malta
