Have i screwed it up?

i read couple of posts and realized i should've putted way more points to wisdom(only 10) NO's a lvl 7 fighter and i haven't progressed him in any other class since i thought he'll lost his fighter skills by doing so.
the main problem i have is that when you first hook up with annah and she leads you to the painted door north of burning corpse(sp?) inn and you open it, that's where things fell apart. i don't know what the h**l happened but the door closed, and is locked and i can't open it anymore, is that suppose to happen and haven't i just figured a way to go around it or am i doomed? if there is a way to "cheat" my way through it if it's a bug, like teleporting to the next area i'm willing to do that, although i'm in the beginning of the game, i'd hate to have to go through all the quests i've done...

well, low wisdom won't help, just be sure to bump it up as you gain levels. you're not that far into the game yet, so it won't hurt your character too much. also, stick with fighter until level 12 for the bonuses. it's not worth changing if you're already at 7.
so the door into the tenement is unopenable? does the dialogue about the paints and that still come up or does nothing whatsoever happen?

nothing happens... i've talked to annah about where she found my body, but that doesn't lead to anything new, and i've talked to "barker-wilder(sp?)" about the chaosmen, but since i'm not chaotic, i can't join, but i don't think that allows me entry anyway, so i've tried beefing up the thieving skills of annah/NO's but without results, they always fail picking the door.
i believe the game considers the door already open in a way thus barring my progress.
is there any in-game cheating device like CluaConsole in bg2 or some save game editor that let's you change the map where you are.
i downloaded the character control editor from teambg this afternoon but that doesn't help since you can only change the stats of the characters, nothing more, so if there is some sort of a cheat (if nothing else helps) to get through that door i'd appreciate someone telling it.
(have to go back to military tonight into a final battle exercise that lasts 10 days, but after that i'm free.

Make sure it is Nameless trying to open the door, not Morte or Dak'kon or anything.

i've beefed NO's open lock skill to 100% but to no avail. he can't bash it with a strength of 20 nor pick the door either facing it or by turning his back to it... i guess i'll have to start over...

I don't believe that you can open the door itself, instead you have to open it through the dialogue with annah. if you can't get that agian, then you're buggered. which it looks like you are.
