Darkest Day Patches Question

I've got an old save from BG2:SoA with TDD 1.02 installed. It's a game I'd like to finish only I did the installation before TDD was compatable with ToB.
So, with a freshly formatted machine I want to install SoA, ToB, and TDD 1.03a and import the old save games. Anyone know if importing saved games from an older version of TDD will cause a problem with the fresh updated install.
