Setting Traps

Is there anything in the game, besides the Mercykiller Ring, that will improve trap-laying skill? I've gone through the equipment list but maybe I missed something. Even with 21 dexterity, I can't get my skill above 40, which requires a LOT of reloading.

nohing exept putting points in it
i tob you get the amulet of master harper wich i think puts points in it

To my knowledge, there's no way to add to this skill at "level up"; you can increase finding and disarming traps but not setting them, which is odd because it's a very useful skill.(shrug)

Set traps
Shadowkeeper can.
If you feel guilty, just use it to "swap" points from another thieving skill.

It's at the very bottom of the point selection screen. right below detect illusion

As stated above, you should have a look to the side. There's a little scroll bar, if you scroll down you will see the option to improve your "set traps" skills.
