The c0ckatrice can be found in the Dock district...... ok that was a major *duh*, but still....... more details follows below
You have to get 5 smuggler coins....go into the seedy tavern.....go down into the cellar......go futher into the cellar.........rescue a girl....then get the key she give you.... go to another house which she talk about...... go into teh cellar in that house..... go to the boat in teh cellar....... down teh river you go..... voila you can hardly miss it from here...... and that's ONE way you can do it.....
