Suggestions for my Self-made Party

Damn. I wanted to get some Druid support in my new run through the game (6 created chars), but I don't think I want a pure Druid, and I found out that contrary to the (very erroneous) manual, Druid/Mage multiclassing is not actually possible in BG2 :) .

These are the characters that I've created so far (just to clarify, I used SK a bit to give some multiclassed chars kits for one class. I know that this is not "legit", but I don't really care -- this is going to be my third time going through the game, and I want to try out some new stuff):

Aoewyn -- Male Elf -- Sorcerer -- LN
Dyara -- Female Elf -- Wild Mage/Thief -- CG
Joran -- Male Human -- Inquisitor -- LG
Cattyrena -- Female Elf -- Archer -- LG
Tyrion -- Male Dwarf -- Kensai -- TN
Phaeriel -- Female Half-Elf -- Priest of Talos/Mage -- CN

When I was originally thinking about what I wanted for my party, I was considering doing a Ranger/Cleric SK'ed to an Archer/Cleric, but this didn't work as I wanted as Clerics can't use bows. Since I wanted to use an Archer, she will have to stay single classed, as the C/R is the only Ranger multiclass. Instead of the C/M, I would have liked (as I said) to have a Druid/Mage, but that's impossible. I was originally going to have an Assassin as my last character, but I had no divine spell support (other than low level from the Archer -- if I understand correctly, Archers still have the Ranger set of spells) and I wanted some extra arcane spell support, so I decided to go with the C/M. However, I think what I'd like to do instead is change Tyrion into a Kensai/Mage, and replace Phaeriel with either a Druid (or a druid kit), or maybe a Cleric/Thief (the main thing I want to get out of a Druid over a Cleric is the 6th level spell Conjure Animals, which, with Jaheira in my last run through the game, would consistently summon 2 Greater Bearweres which I found very useful).

Any suggestions?

I didn't like druids in BGI, but their spells are much more interesting in BGII indeed.. A cleric/ranger would have the best gamut of spells in this sense, both cleric and druidic - what's wrong with slings? :D (The Everard sling is a +5 weapon+ammo, pretty useful; er, but not to argue about choice of weapons, anyway-) Have you considered trying custom kits? There are several you can download at Sorcerer's Place including Archer of Sylvanus that may suit your wants/needs.
