Every charactor I've tried to access the spellbook with, the game crashs sometime frezes. I think if the charactor is not a spell caster its ok, but if it is a spell caster it seems to crash when I click the icon. I could play the game with a fighter or rogue, but i feel the chalange is gone. Should I give up hope??????
What is the latest patch and where can I get it also anybody else have the same problem.

When I first got the game it would not run, I got a new video card and that solved that. only thing is that I have a PCI type computer and this makes it suck. The intro movie clips are all choppy and the sound is even worse. It seems to run well for ranger though. ? ? ???

you only have to press the automatic update button when the autostart screen starts..... or go to Bioware

I tried the auto update but it says that the patch was aborted, I don't know that much about computers so I had difficulty doing it manually. I could not unzip the file to the right directory?

I'm not sure but I don't think you should unzip it.... just place it in your nwn night folder..... (c:\nevewinter is the stadard) and then press the automatic update button. IIRC teh update program should recognize the downloaded file and update...... not at all sure as i've never done it.....
