Serpent Gems

I'm currently in chapter 2 trying to find all of the serpent's gems. I went to Wanev and I did the quest of closing the portal and everything, but there is no gem. Where is it supposed to be? I checked every container and the sarcophoguses(sp) but there is nothing. Isn't it supposed to be in the summoning room? Please help.

Yes, the gem should be in one of the containers at the north in the summoning chamber. Be careful though because it looks like one of the ordinary gems.

After extensive searching I have found the gem, nowhere. I don't have a recent save. I could either play from very early on and redo much of the game or just forget about the quest. Is there anyway to import the gem? Any item codes like Baldur's Gate?

I had the same problem today, but I found the gem in the "room" situated above the summoning chamber (pull up your map
) It is in one of the chests in that the room, if memory serves it is in one of the low, slightly flattened chests.

in the summoning chamber there is also a lever. I pulled it, but I dont see anything happen
Where do I have to look?
BTW: I have killed Wanev
