My roomate has a sony vaio pc, one of those compact little buggers. We took the thing a part to check it out and put it all back together, now it wont boot.

I know these mean something but i forget what, the mother boards beeping continuesly instead of booting. The fan spins and it appears to attempt to start up.

Does anyone know what solid continuing beeps means?\

Please help, he wont leave me alone.

Never mind, fixed it. Memory in wrong.

It is pretty much always memory or graphics card that causes those beeps, btw didn't opening it up void the warranty?

Who cares, he is gutting that small case crap and building it into my old large ugly case.

He might care in about 3 months when his parts have blown up and he needs a replacement
