I dunno if this should go in a game specific forum, but oh well

I can't believe most stores carry retarded games such as the Sims, Icewind Dale, and Ghost Recon yet NONE of them seem to have Planescape Torment!

Well, stores tend to sell what, well, sells well. IWD, the Sims and Ghost Recon are all, or were, big selling names, whil Ps:T catored more to the intellectual RPG player, thus a very small group. The best method of buying Ps:t, now, is to order, as has been suggested, or buy it over e-bay.

Just as you suspected, this belongs in the PS:T forum.

And if you'll check here, you can buy it. Really, I don't see why people just can't do a web search in places like Yahoo or Amazon, where it (along with everything else) is sold used.

I have quite some money saved up from work. I'm not old enough, however, to get a credit card yet

My parents/brother has something against giving out their credit card number online

There are some sites were you can order goods online and then poay at your local post office when you recieve the game....I only know some Swdish sites that does this though and they only send goods inside of Sweden...there might be a similar alternative were you come from, but I really doubt it as I've yet to see an internation site that does it.....

@prateek, have you tried asking the stores if they can get/order a copy of Ps:T for you? Any good store should be more than happy to get you what you want to buy, provided they can still get it. If you can ask a manager to get it for you, maybe (s)he will realize there is still some demand for the game.

P.S. What's wrong with IwD?

You might try contacting the individual seller, and seeing if they will accept a mailed personal check.

Try going to a store that sells a used copy...I got mine for a very low price.
