my best saved file is acting like crap. evreytime i go to load it, it just sends me back to my desktop. ive planned for months on the continuation of my main character and now the stupid computer is ruining it for me
help me any one out there!!!i dont think any thing in the file is wrong and not once, but twice have i had to reintstall the game and in no way am i gonna start all the way from the beginning

Have you tried clearing out your cache/data file?

Something similar happened to me too once..........
in my case it was because I patched the game without the savegames inside the game folder.....
then the savegames just did not work...............

Occasionally I will get this effect when my system crashes in the middle of a save. Unfortunately, I think it means your saved game is corrupted and can't be retrieved.
