Yes, I have even more problems.

Firstly, my internal modem doesn't turn off when I exit IE6 and email program (Mail Washer). It used to ask if I wanted to disconnect, as soon as I exitted those programs before, but now it's just keep connected. I don't know why. How can I change it back? The Dial-Up connection setting is set to "Disconnect when it may be no longer needed".

The second problem is, I get message about msnp32.dll, which is not exist and Microsoft Network may not be installed (or something like that) at the startup. What can I do? I don't use networking (at the moment, anyway), but it's annoying.

Have you installed any other applications that may use your internet connection, like msn messenger or something like that.

You do use something called Dialup networking to connect to the web with your modem, if you double click on your network neighbourhood what do see in there.

This may seem a bit odd, but have you tried unselecting the 'disconnect when no longer needed' option, restarting and reselecting it? I've seen that procedure work for a lot of things like that in windows.

MSNP32.DLL is part of the client for microsoft netowrking. You should be able to resolve that problem by removing the client from your networking proerties, reinsalling it and restarting. It's used by dialup networking for some very minor functions. You can work without it, but it makes things much easier to have it installed.
