wheres MY familiar?

Post by Fitz »

I'm soloing a blade. With that comes the innability to detect very lethal and very numerous traps. So while I wiggled out of SoA with stoneskins and whatnot I was entralled to learn that my new true neutral familiar would be a master at detecting traps for his master. Well there was a problem (when is there not). If I remeber correctly I lost my familiar in SoA to a painful death (wich cost me a con point) and never bothered to recast it till ToB. Well now EVERY time I try I get a message telling me I already have one, but I dont. Anyway I REALLY want my little rabbit so I would appreciate some help.

I believe that this is a feature and not a bug. In PnP ADnD, if your familiar dies and/or you lose it for any reason, you can NOT get another for a year and a day.

Have you tried inserting a new rabbit in your inventory using ShadowKeeper? It might work. Other than that I have no idea. I once lost a familiar without noticing and had to replay several hours.
