Evening Attire

Good morning. :)

I'm up late, wearing off *ahem* the rich food and wine I scarfed up today at a dinner party. It was my first ever black tie event, having avoided them in my life so far. I enjoyed it, actually, feeling like $1 million in my snazzy DJ. Pictures to follow - you won't recognise me. I'm reminded of HLD's pictures, only he's more handsome than I. :D

I'm just no tused to anything more refined than Guinness or Newcastle Broon Ale. So I'm just staying up till I settle down. :o

It was an interesting feeling walking past the almost deserted Bank of England in a DJ at 11pm. Quite unique for me.

I'm like an unexpected thunderstorm. I cannot be planned for or predicted; but rest assured, I will eventually happen, Minerva.

How are you, dear? I have speaking engagements in Korea this week, and will be *prepared to be surprised* in Tokyo afterwards.

LMAO!! :D The only day I managed to scrub up and look so different I didn't recognise me in a photo was my wedding day! :D That one day aside, put this child in heels and a c0cktail dress and I am stumbling all over the place. I might try a tux next time ;) At least I can get away with a bottle of Newcy in a tux :D

I bought a rather amusing green Trilby on Saturday and paraded down a local city with it on, one does get some strange looks, the amusing thing is that people seem more perturbed by my Trilby than some street punk wearing all manner of garish attire, of course I didn't have the trenchcoat or double breasted suit...but I am working on it :D

Ok, as Tybaltus will confirm, a trilby - especially coloured - comes with a frilled shirt and leather trousers :o :D

WHAT?!? Huh? Ive never heard of the word trilby. :D And I dont wear or have any knowledge of frilled shirts nor leather trousers. So how can I confirm something I have absolutely zero knowledge about? :D So why was my name targeted out of curiousity? :D
