Thanks all. I know this is a birthday thread and should remain a spam only zone

- but I had some serious thoughts that I really think would be good for me to get down on "paper".
I have had to tell people on many ocassions during the last year that my birthday is 9/11. Being a New Yorker this information always gets a reaction. I have had people tell me that because of what happened I will never forget my birthday - funny I never had trouble remembering it to begin with

. I also have a lot of people express their regret that my birthday would have to be on this day - kind of takes away from the celebration.
I would just like to say that after the events of last year I wouldn't change the date of my birthday for any other day - I have never been big for personal celebrations - just not my style - but to have my birthday fall on such a personally important date somehow seems to make it more special for me - not the opposite.
So if any of you were thinking - "man that would be a difficult day to celebrate a birthday" - don't pity me - I am proud of the date - now more than ever.
Thanks for listening.

Happy birthday, @Smass. A birthday's a birthday and should be celebrated no matter what day it falls on.
