I appreciate your quick response so thank you for that, however, i think i was unclear in my question regarding assassins, I understand how the kits work as far as preset skills, what im wondering is where do i find the actual place where you select the assassin class? I have looked under rogue and the other classes and none of the kits are assassin. Is there some requirement i have to fullfill before the assassin kit becomes available?

There are no assasin class. only rogue. Alas there is no Blackguard either. No prestige classes at all.

The place you select the package (not kits) of an assassian is when you create your character. Just before you divide the skill points you can slected some pre-made packages where assassian is one I think.
But remember- this has absolutly no influence on the game in anyway other then the skill points that have been divided out.

There is no bonus or penalties or extra abilities of any kind as a result of selecting any packages.

ah i see, ok that clears it up for me thanx alot Xandax and Bloodmist, oh well i guess ill be an evil rogue then until prestige classes are implemented. Any idea if this will happen? I hope so, the 3ed blackgaurd and assassin classes are damn cool. I played an assassin in 2ed dnd and it was pretty lame, just a rogue who gets herbalism. Well back to darktide for now, thanx again guys!
