It's way to high!
Is it possible to use my ADSL internet connection to call (mobile) phones?
Perhaps with some kind of program or something. Free ofcource.

Anybody got some experience with this?

Not sure how well this would work, but programs like iPhone will allow you to place a call using your internet connection. I have no idea whether there are any other costs involved though.

Yahoo! has a service that will enable you to talk from one computer to another at not cost, but I believe they charge if you use your computer to call a phone. You can also use a service like Net2Phone, but there are some premiums there.

In the US, many cell phone companies are running specials right now that include free long distance as long as you are calling from your home calling area and free mobile-to-mobile calling as long as your are calling the phone of someone with the same carrier (ie-you have AT&T and they have AT&T). So if you have a cell phone (or "need" a cell phone), you might look into getting something like that (if they're running the same types of specials across the pond).

I think you'll have a hard time finding free services like this because once somene figures out how to make a buck at a service, everyone jumps on the bandwagon.

If both people wanting to talk have icq..... all you need to do is get a decent mike/headset for your computer...... By using icqphone you can talk to anyone, anywhere in the world, for any length of time and all you pay for is the connection to the internet.....

Roger Wilco and team sound are also good for this.

You can send SMS text messages by ICQ as well...
