I have a stalker in Morrowind

I have a stalker. It is big, it floats, and it has tentacles. No, its not a rabid octopus. Its a bull netch 
!! I swear to god, it follows me around. I was walking through Balmora to the house I "acquired" and turned around. There it was, floating right outside the city. I almost bust a nut laughing. A day later, I was in Dragon Fel searching for spells when suddenly, out of nowhere, I see that same damn netch float right into town. I must have almost pissed my pants I was laughing so hard. And today, in Vivec, I saw it again. I am not lying, I think it might be a bug or something.
